Come elections every political party starts wooing Muslims. It seems that is the time when every one realizes that they are one third of the population. Only when the elections are close, there are special sops announced by the party in power and special promises made by other parties. It is these politicians who have never allowed Muslims to think themselves of Indians. If the politicians do only a fraction of what they have promised to the Muslims for the entire country, there will be no alienation and the country will move forward truly well integrated. Despite what all parties have claimed there contribution in upliftment of Muslims, the ground reality is that they are still backward, and exploited by politicians of all colors. The politicians have a vested interest to keep Muslims and other backwards just that. They can easily show the garden path to a have not and ensure their own well being.

Beleive me MAYAWATI is just a hallo vessel trying to enthral Muslims with ther MAYA JADOO, she will never do, niether she will be allowed to do what she is promissing. Muslims in India do not need a persian or a Arabic University and vote bank politics. The best for Muslims in India is to be independently think what is best for them, and join or strengthen the political stream which would finally considers them as Indians. Perhaps it is honestly better to strengthen BJP itself, because a known enemy is better than a unknown fools. All the parties have been fooling us one way or the other, BJP considers Muslims as enemies of the nation, enenmies of Hindus(which is just not true) just b'coz a handfull of Muslims names and faces (AS THEY HAVE PRESUMED CRIMINALS AND MURDERERS TO BE)have been screened on the TV Screens all over. Cinflicts of interests, thoughts, Ideas and Ideologies, are the healthy features of any society, unfortunately our politicians give a communal colour to all this.

This is vote politics at its worst. There should be rules to prevent such wastage of government money and wooing doubtful voters with the tax payers money before elections.

Any true secular democracy should ban any religious schools/university, funded by ANY state or Central Govt. Majority of Indian political parties and many so-called “intellectuals” (with degrees but without any education) prefer to blame Hindu fundamentalist organizations with slightest provocation but they always keep mum or tactically support Christian or Muslim activities of same degree or even for more dangerous religious fundamentalism. Indian Govt and most of the political parties fail to understand that “secularism” does not mean freedom to do (in public) whatever one feels like according to its own religious faith. Secularism means strict responsibility to implement (by Govt) and follow (by citizens) a common set of rules in public, irrespective of religion. Uniform civil code and unbiased law implementation is the very basic to have a real secular democracy and which is far too much to demand from our present political system. Unless it’s implemented, no power in the earth can stop religious violence in India. In reality religion and caste based violence will increase.

India can live now only 2 methods (1) Abolish the politcal community. They are the biggest culprits in this country. When they get into the profession they think power is eternal to them and their generations.
