London A woman accused of attacking Hollywood heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio at a Hollywood party in 2005 has been arrested in Canada.

The 39-year-old woman named Aretha Wilson was arrested by Canadian officials on Monday and will be deported to US, reported Contact Music.

Wilson allegedly attacked the 'Titanic' star with a glass at a party hosted by Rick Solomon and left him with 10 stitches on his ear and seven on the neck.

The 34-year-old actor had told the police that the woman was one of his friend's ex-girlfriend.

Wilson was issued an arrest warrant a month after the attack on the charge of assaulting with a deadly weapon.

She avoided detention for years but was held by the police in 2008 when she was found guilty of assaulting her ex-boyfriend Wyatt Cote. She was given a suspended sentence and two years probation.
