Workshop on ‘Computer Fundamental Concepts’

Ludhiana, June 20 Placement Cell of Quest Infosys, Regional Centre of Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, under Distance Education Programme, organised a workshop on Computer Fundamental Concepts, here today. The workshop was organised for PTU DEP students and was held at PTU Learning Centre Science and Technology Entrepreneurs Park, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College.

Surendra Singh, Registrar of STEP GNDE, the faculty members and students of the Learning Centre gave a warm welcome to the resource person Prof MS Seekred. Seekree has retired from Department of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, and is now HOD, CSE, Bhutta College of Engineering and Technology.

The students were asked to have self-feedback for continued learning as a process. The workshop was attended by more than 100 students of the learning centre, who actively participated in the workshop . Wing Commander SS Arora (Retd), Placement Officer, informed the students about the importance of such workshops. He also advised the students to further improve upon their professional and communication skills. On behalf of Quest Infosys, Arora thanked Prof Seekree for his presentation and interactive session with PTU DEP students.
