YPS celebrates its 29th Founder’s Day

Chandigarh, February 9 The Yadavindra Public School (YPS), SAS Nagar, celebrated its 29th Founder’s Day today. The Chief Information Commissioner of Central Information Commission, Wajahat Habibullah, was the chief guest on the occasion.

The celebrations began with the procession of the teaching staff with shabad playing in the background. It was followed by the welcome address of the principal, Dr HS Dhillon. School head boy Prabhsahil and head girl Akshi Chawla read out the school report to the audience highlighting achievements of the school in academics, sports and social activities.

Habibullah in his address said that he is pleased to learn that the school emphasises on character building of its students rather than providing only classroom activities.
