Youth Day celebrated

Ludhiana, January 12 Helianthus Day Boarding School, Sunder Nagar, celebrated Youth Day by remembering Swami Vivekanand and spreading his message.

Students participated in a speech declamation contest, and spoke about the life of Swami Vivekanand. Ankita Chhabra and Monika Sharma of Class IX got the first and second prizes respectively. They spoke on education and the transformation of society.

Monika emphasised on realizing the extreme power of the human mind. Amarjit of Class IX and Rohit of Class VI spoke on the significance of having faith in God and oneself. Rinkle of Class VII gave a brief biography of Swami Vivekanand. School Principal Vishal asked the students to inculcate a sense of responsibility and determination.
