Ahmedabad, December 4 Two young men's 'experiment' with an air-filling machine turned dangerous on Tuesday, when one inflated the other's abdomen beyond its capacity rupturing his intestines.

The freak accident took place on the factory premises of R V Denim and Exports Ltd situated on the Narol-Sarkhej road. While working the two decided to experiment with the machine. It was then that Ramakant Patel (20) inserted the outlet pipe into his friend and colleague Vivek Dubey's rectum and turned on the machine in order to inflate him. However, after sometime, Dubey lost consciousness as a result of the increasing air pressure inside him. Both Patel and Dubey work at the factory as washmen.

Danilimda police inspector, J R Wala said. Dubey was rushed to L G hospital, where he had to be operated upon. Dubey is undergoing treatment at the hospital, while police have booked Patel for negligence.
