Mumbai, February 27 Police arrested 15-20 youths on charges of rioting, creating nuisance and breaking windows of the Famous Studios on E Moses Road in Dadar on Tuesday night.

According to the NM Joshi Marg police, organizers of reality music programme TVS Sa Re Ga Ma Pa were shooting for their latest episode when some youths, who were asked to form a part of the audience, started passing comments and created nuisance by shouting.

When the organizers of the programme asked them to leave the studio premises, they turned violent.

“Angered by the fact that they were being asked to go out from the studio, the youths went on a rampage and broke some of the windows of the main reception area and also windshields of three cars parked outside the studio. The loss of property has been estimated at Rs 40,000. We arrested the people behind this incident. Three of them have been identified as Sonu Sharma (19), a resident of Govandi, Raju Sharma (25) of Ghatkopar and Vicky Sakpal (18) of Goregaon. They have been charged with rioting. One of the cars damaged belonged to actress Pallavi Joshi,” said Senior Police Inspector Vasant Tajne from NM Joshi Marg police station.
