A day of laughter for teachers and students at GMSSS-16

Chandigarh, January 2 A laughter session was organised for students and teachers of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 16 in the school premises on Wednesday.

Dr Madan Kataria, the founder of School of Laughter Yoga was guest of honour. Dr Madan Kataria is the Founder of Dr Kataria School of Laughter Yoga, Mumbai. He highlighted the benefits of laughing. He also talked about the importance of laughter in the betterment of physical and mental health.

He claimed that laughter causes release of stress and strain. DPI(S), S K Setia was the chief guest. Khushinder Sharma, District Education Officer was also present.

In the evening session, Dr Kataria has demonstrated Laughter yoga to the teachers of the Education Department. More than 150 Sports and craft and vocational teachers attended the session .
