A hectic Sunday for the student community

Pune This Sunday will be hectic for the students as lot of educational activities are lined up. While MBA aspirants will be busy solving MBA-CET paper, the class 4 and class 7 students in the state will be appearing for the scholarship exams.

The statewide scholarship exams are being conducted for the last 55 years. “This year while 12, 89,920 students will appear for class 4 scholarship exams, the number of students to appear for class 7 exams is 7,94,712,” said Suneel Magar, deputy commissioner of the council.

While the class 4 exams will be held at 5,674 centres, as many as 3,684 centres have are being readied to hold class 7 exams. Magar said the council was ready with additional detection squads to keep check on untoward incidents. The council has provided phone numbers (2612 3066/67 or 2605 6448) to register the complaints.

The MBA-CET are also scheduled to be held on Sunday. Around 1,20,000 students will appear for the CET. For more details contact www.dte.org.in.
