Ludhiana ABC Montessori celebrated Republic Day here on Friday. The day was celebrated on the campus with the school building standing out in Tri-colour decoration of balloons and frills.

The children were filled with the feeling of patriotism and were dressed in the different hues of the Tri-colour. A group of small children sang the national anthem with a lot of enthusiasm. A debate was also organised wherein in the children were encouraged to speak on the topic “India.” The event ended with the children paying their respects to the country by saluting the national flag.

Speaking on the occasion, Munish Saddana, Director, ABC Montessori, Ludhiana, said, “We at ABC Montessori celebrate all significant days like these so that children from a young age learn the importance of national days and inculcate a feeling of patriotism. Since the school follows the Montessori way of learning, we believe in inspiring children to participate in group activities like songs and group discussions to build their confidence leading to their over-all development.”
