Abeda Inamdar win rolling trophy again

Pune, January 7 Abeda Inamdar Sr College has once again lifted the Abeda Inamdar Rolling Trophy with 64 points pipping Sr Miras College, which garnered 49 points.

Shaheenaaz Kudsi of Abeda Inamdar won the Best Athlete Prize after notching 34 points.

In other results, Purnima Nivgune of St Miras won the Hammer Throw event, by covering distance of 35.4 m. She beat Pallavi Gole (second, 19.10 m) and Sushma Kolkar (third, 13.18 m), both of Abeda Inamdar Sr College.

Meanwhile, Kalyani Malshirsee (20.21 sec) of St Miras won the 100 m Hurdles defeating Shaheenaaz (20.31 sec).

In the 4X100 m relay event too, it was St Miras College. They came first after clocking 1.03.00. Abeda Inamdar Sr College came second with 1.07.36, while Jedhe College came in third with 1.10.64.

N K Mahajan, president of the Maharashtra Hockey Association, gave away the prizes.
