Patiala, February 27 A Day after two senior Punjab Police officers were arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the Moga sex scandal, Punjab DGP NPS Aulakh said strict action would be initiated against anyone found on the wrong side of law. Aulakh, who was chief guest at the annual sports day function at Government Mahindra College, while speaking to The Indian Express, said there were black sheep in every department and the performance of the entire force could not be judged by the action of two personnel.

“The conduct of the two officials is already under the scanner of the CBI and good work done by the police department cannot be veiled by the Moga sex scandal,” he said.

“We have set high examples in the past and erring officials are dealt with strictly. The law will take its own course,” he said. “Our Vigilance Department has booked numerous erring cops in the past few years and will continue to do so in future as well,” he said.
