After death, body brought to police station

Pune, February 13 A Man, who was injured in a quarrel at Dudulgaon on February 4, died while undergoing treatment at a hospital on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Balasaheb Dhondiab Pawar. His supporters and relatives took his body to the Vishrantwadi police station on Wednesday morning demanding proper investigation into the matter.

Police said Pawar was injured during a brawl between two groups at Dudulgaon. Cross-complaints were registered in the case. Pawar was held accused in the case. He was admitted to a hospital for treatment. Soon after he was declared dead, his supporters rushed to the police station to lodge an offence of murder in this case. The mob was pacified after police assured to arrest the assailants of Pawar. They have launched search for the assailants.
