Mumbai An inspired performance from hosts KSA Blue helped them shock fancied Air India 1-0 in a group ‘A’ league match of the Siro Clinfarm 7th Karnatak All India Veterans Invitational football tournament, at the Karnatak Sporting Association ground on Friday.

In an earlier match of group ‘C’RBI and Mumbai Customs played out a goalless draw. KSA were all over the Air India half, and a well struck shot by Rajesh Naidu from 25 yards gave them the goal in the 10th minute of the first half. Air India goalkeeper Shyam Sawant was caught by surprise as the ball dipped into the left corner of the net. An all out attacking blitz in the last ten minutes of the second half had the KSA defence on their toes, but they managed to thwart the Air India attack.

Results: KSA Blue 1 (Rajesh Naidu 1) bt Air India 0; RBI drew with Mumbai Customs 0-0.
