Ajit bank fraud: cops release chief advisor’s photograph

The economic offences wing of the Pune police have released the photograph of Rajesh Vasant Javlekar, chief advisor of the Ajit Sahkari Bank and the main accused in the Ajit bank financial fraud, who has gone absconding.

According to the police, Javlekar is a resident of Bhagyatara society on Katraj Kondhwa road. He is amongst the 23 persons booked in the Ajit bank case for allegedly misappropriating funds to the tune of Rs 38 crores.

The police said that the court had initially accepted Javlekar's interim bail application. But now the court has issued an arrest warrant against him. The police have asked the citizens to contact at 26208240 if they have any information on Javlekar.
