Ali Saud shines as St Francis’ College beat Jaipuria in final

Lucknow, January 3 All-Round efforts by Ali Saud Khan (42 runs; 4 for 14 in 5.5 overs) and unbeaten 68 by Digvijay Mehta were the highlight of the match as their team—- St Francis’ College defeated Jaipuria School by 32 runs in the final of the 10th Avinash Chandra Chaturvedi Memorial Cricket Tournament at the Colvin College grounds here on Thursday.

Batting first, St Francis’ College scored 161 runs losing seven wickets in the given 35 overs. In reply, Jaipuria Scool was bowled out at a totalof 129 runs in 32.5 overs.

Man-of-the-match: Ali Saud.

Ishant excels for National Youngster

Medium-pacer Ishant Rawat took five wickets as National Youngster Club defeated Panther Cricket Academy by two wickets in their league match of the 5th Panther’s Invitation Cup at NER Stadium here on Thursday.
