Kolkata Two monthas have passed since the devastating fire took place at AMRI Hospital in Dhakuria, which claimed 92 lives. The victims of the family members on Thursday organised signature campaign pleading for justice.

The Human Health Rights forum claim they are not in favour of state government’s decision to arrest six board members under Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code.

Section 304 of IPC states culpable homicide not amounting to murder punishable with imprisonment for life or for a term which may extend to 10 years.

They claimed that they have been charged under bailable section, instead they should be charged under 302 of IPC which is non bailable. The forum wants all those responsible for the tragedy be booked for murder.
