This officer saved the driver of a truck from public fury after his car was hit by a truck near the Jetpur toll plaza on National High way 8B. Langa, who was on his way to Ahmedabad, suffered a fracture and a leg injury.
The Rajkot police said people were quick to gather at the spot and had it not been for Langa, the truck driver would have been badly injured.
According to the police, the officer made arrangements for the truck driver to be was shifted to a private hospital in Jetpur.
A case of accident has been registered by the Jetpur police.
