Ansal Plaza given two more days to pay tax

Ludhiana The house tax branch today went to seal Ansal Plaza for non-payment of house tax. The plaza had an outstanding Rs 4.15 crore of tax against the MC, out of which Rs 70 lakh was paid yesterday.

However today, the owners asked for two days’ time and also paid Rs 30 lakh tax as well. Hence the remaining tax will have to be paid soon in order to avoid sealing.The two-member team had a detailed discussion with the members of Ansal Plaza management today. The issue of outstanding house tax had been raised in the last general house meeting and after that the recovery process has been put on a fast track.
