Six talented young artists from the College of Arts, Lucknow university are holding their group exhibition at the State Lalit Kala Akademi galleries. Anil Kumar Vishwakarma, Anita Patel, Noopur Rastogi, Pawan Kumar, Sadia Khatoon, Shyam Kumar have joined hands to bring forward an encouraging collection of works for art enthusiasts keen to have a dekko at contemporary explorations and experiments in the realm of art. The exhibits show a rare maturity and fredom of creative expression with each artist coming forward with their own signature style. Vishwakarma’s wash paintings blend form and figure with an aesthetic harmony of colours, Anita Patel displays a bold streak inher worksboth in the creativeexpression and the choice of medium, Noopur delves in psychoanalytic themes for inspiration whilst the works of Pawan, Sadia and Shyam sand out with a profusion of colours and a yearning for self expression. A must see for art lovers, the exhibiton remains on at the venue till February 13 from 11 am to 6 pm at the SLKA galleries.
