The group worked for more than one month on various aspects of the event. Promotional activities like banners and charts had been put up in the college premises. Auditions were conducted for selection of the participants for various events.
The embodiment of the exuberant youth and the vibrant culture displayed by the Steelers was of a top class. The Steelers brought about Zen X as an effective platform to showcase young talent that can be witnessed in the premises of St Mira's College, stated a press note.
The event was held for two days. The first day belonged to "youth art." It included events like the "muzic carnival" and simultaneously was "tatouage" to allow participants to explore their colourful horizons. These events were followed by "Kabuki" (Group Skit) which took the audience on an amazing journey through the reflections of life.
This was followed by "mukhotta" (mono act), the event of faces in disguise. Then came the last event of the day "Rock N Roll Soniye," the group dance competition, where participants paid a tribute to the Retro Era of Bollywood.
The second day was: Ablaze Youth, to bring up the managerial and leadership skills of the participants of St Mira's. The day started with "manifest" (presentations) followed by "sophism" (debate). Then Zen X experienced the graceful presence of Neetu Bhatia (co-founder, CEO and chairman of Kyazoonga). This was followed by "Gestion De Crise," (crisis management).
The winners of the events were awarded a certificate with a gold medal and the runner ups with a silver medal. The best department trophy was awarded to the management and the computer science department as there was a tie between the two departments, the Steelers said.
"We, the Steelers, believe that Dr G H Gidwani (principal), Dr B H Nanwani (course co-ordinator), Steela Ambrose (vice-principal), Prabha Murjani and all the teachers are the ones without whose support the event wouldn't have been possible. The hard work put in by The Steelers was appreciated by the teachers, seniors and the juniors," added the press note.
