"They are not wanted in Southern India, Assam and also Punjab and Chandigarh. The Biharis have antagonised local population wherever they had settled. The UP-Bihari MPs have shown their ingratitude towards Mumbai and Maharashtra with an anti-Marathi tirade in Parliament," Thackeray said in an editorial in party mouthpiece Samana.
The "Bihari" leaders, accusing people of Mumbai of harbouring anti-national sentiments are trying to stir again the fire of anti-north Indian feelings in Maharashtra and should realise that the exercise would only put their brethren in Maharashtra at the receiving end, Thackeray said in a veiled suggestion of a backlash.
MPs from Bihar and UP had raised the issue of anti- north Indian stand of MNS, that led to wide spread violence in Maharashtra.
The arrest of Raj Thackeray following his anti-north Indian sentiments last month had put the Shiv Sena in a difficult spot as the breakaway faction led by the nephew of the Sena chief appeared to be drawing political mileage in the state at the cost of the parent party.
Sena executive President Uddhav Thackeray recently asserted that it was only his party that was wedded to the cause of Marathis and nobody else.
Referring to Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, whom he had earlier dared to perform Chhatpooja in Mumbai, the Sena leader in his editorial, said those who have turned Bihar into a hell should not try to teach nationalism to Mumbai and Maharashtra.
Thackeray's comments came even as the Maharashtra police served a show cause notice to Raj Thackeray asking him to explain as to why the gag order enforced on him following the party's anti-north Indian agitation should not be extended.
The MNS leader was in Pune when the notice was served at his Mumbai residence on Tuesday.

Who is RAJ THACKERAY - An Indian, A Maharashtrian, A Marathi or A Criminal ?? I congratulate Bal Thackerey for the article. This Shameless Bihari Leaders like Prabhu Nath Singh and Laloo Prasad Yadav say in the Parliament that minds of the people living in Mumbai are rotten and then at the very next day say in the biased News Channels like IBN7, News24 that they will urge more and more Biharis to go and settle in Mumbai. By this their plan is to get votebanks in Mumbai at the cost of the poor Bihari people who has to live away from their family members to earn their living as these shameless Bihari Leaders are incapable of providing the poor bihari people job in their own land.
Everybody in the Parliament is talking high about the Column of Bal Thackerey. But nobody is speaking about what JD(U) leader Prabhu nath Singh said in the Parliament. How can a Mumbaikar bear what Prabhunath Singh said. If these UP and Bihari leaders really think that thoughts of people in Mumbai are rotten. then they should urge all the UP and Biharis not to go to Mumbai and rotten their minds staying in Mumbai. But they won't do it. As they want to throw the UP and Bihari People out from Bihar.
All Indians must be free to live anywhere in the country but politicians from Bihar and UP must ask themselves why so many from their constituencies migrate for a better life. Lalu Prasad presided over 15 years of neglect of this state so rich in natural resources.
Politicians from UP and Bihar should take the challenge to make a better-than-Mumbai city in Bihar or UP, where people from all over Indian will flock for a better future, all Indians will be treated equally; Tamil or Maratahi or Bengali will be freely used without any violence. People of Bihar and UP have to wake up and see what their politicians have done to their state. Nalanda in Bihar was once the center of world education but now it is in ruins. Ordinary citizens have to ask hard questions to their government.-why is it that business don’t come to their states-why there are no pro business policies-why don’t Nitish Kumar and Mayawati go to European and North America countries to attract new businesses? Look at southern sates they aggressively seek investment in their states.-why cant the state government provide basic amenities to its citizens-why does the state government not provide safe environment to its citizens and business-why does the judicial system not work as intended-why is there less education and more violence in schools and colleges

Bal Thckary being too old and sick is suffering from mania of promoting regionalism and castesim in Maharashtra. By pioneering the casue of Marathi speaking Maharashtrians, he is sowing the seeds of hatred, enemity and ill-will amongst communities which may boomrang on Bal Thackary himself. India being a secular soverign Republic, its constitution provides freedom for all Indians, irrespective of ethnic, caste and creed to settle anywhere in India, seeking livelihood. By targetting innocent north Indians, forcing them to flee for safety, leaving behind their herths and homes in Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra, Bal Thackray is doing great disservice to Marahti and the Masharashtrians who may be the ultimate losers, if this dngerous trend of dividing the country on ethnic, community and region basis as preached by him continues.
