Three Raj Thackeray's party leaders arrested

Mumbai, February 7: Three leaders from Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena were on Thursday arrested for allegedly conspiring to incite violence in the city.

The three arrested are party's general secretaries Praveen Darekar, Aditya Shirodkar and Nitin Sardesai, Additional Commissioner of Police Rajnish Seth said.

"All three are MNS leaders who were not active participants in the violence but were involved in the conspiracy to cause it," he said.

The three were also present in Dadar area of Central Mumbai on Sunday when MNS activists assaulted people, he added.
