Bad weather in Delhi, Bangalore affects flight arrivals

Mumbai The trickle down effect of 22 diverted flights at the Delhi airport because of fall in runway visibility to below 50 meters was very much visible on Thursday morning at the Mumbai airport. Thirteen flights arriving from New Delhi and Bangalore were reported delayed at the Mumbai airport.

According to a spokesperson from the Mumbai International Airport Limited, between 8 am and 4 pm, there were a total of 13 delays in arrivals from Delhi and Bangalore. “The detailed report of delays in departures and the breakups is awaited from MIAL. In Delhi, 16 domestic and six international flights were diverted due to fog this morning”, said the spokesperson.
