Addressing a rally during his ‘Vikas yatra’ at Talwara, he said priority would be given to education, health and infrastructure development in the coming budget.

Earlier, he laid the foundation stone of the new college building at Talwara, which would be built on 35 acres at a cost of Rs. 17 crore. He gave the first installment of the cost, Rs 5 crore, on the spot.

While elaborating his development plans, he said Rs. 555 crore would be distributed in all the assembly segments of the state.

Claiming that the NDA will win all 13 seats in Punjab in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections, he said the NDA is aware of the ground realities and would do everything for their welfare.

As for the candidate from Hoshiarpur, he said the SAD-BJP would field make an announcement soon.
