The Baluchistani people, moreover, also want an Indian Citizenship as they have been living in the city for several decades.

“We celebrate every festival, take part in every political move and are living here for several decades. So why cannot we get the citizenship,” said Yasmin Nigar Khan, great grand daughter of Frontier Gandhi and president of All India Pakhtoon Jirge-e-Hind.

According to Khan, around 2,000 people live in the city and around 32 lakh are in the country. “We want recognition in the country that can make us feel secured in the country,” added Khan. Khan said no school or park has been named after the leader, whereas there are several schools and parks in the city which have been named after several Indian leaders and freedom fighters.
