Ranna Gill’s “Autumn Garden” is wild, replete with olive greens, chocolate browns and purples. Apart from flowing gowns, embellished dresses and embroidered and draped tops, Gill is trying something new with pants and sweaters in her line for the India Fashion Week: “I’ve never done them before, but this season is going to be all about high-waist pants.” But the high point is the bandage dress, the clingy number that Herve Leger made a rage in the 1980 and is now sported by everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Victoria Beckham. It is called the next big thing in the Indian market. Better late than never.
