The students of the Music Department recited the shabad “Deh Shiva Bar Mohe Ehe”.
The function was formally commenced with the lamp-lighting ceremony by the guests.
Chief guest Barnala released the book and its first copy was given to him as a token of love.
Addressing the audience on this occasion, principal Harmit Kaur said, “We are very fortunate to have such a talented, artistic and far-sighted patron. Owing to his progressive thinking, the college is progressing at such a fast pace.”
In his address, Barnala expressed his delight to see the dedication of Ranjodh Singh. Expressing his happiness, the cabinet minister, Hira Singh Gabaria said, “We are proud of Ranjodh Singh who is a source of inspiration for the students because of his artistic talent.”
On this occasion, a cultural programme was presented by the P.G. Department of Music and Dramatic club.
