Kolkata The West Bengal government is anxiously following developments on the Telangana issue as it may have repercussions on the Gorkhaland statehood demand.

“The Telangana issue will bear a cost for us,” said Chief Secretary Asok Mohan Chakrabarti on Tuesday. He said he has apprised the chief minister of the tripartite talks that were held recently in Darjeeling. “At the official level, nothing more can be done,” he said on the Gorkhaland issue.

its a Shame for India union Government first and failed Democracy when Home Minister appealed to political parties in Andhra Pradesh to help the central government find a solution to the Telangana issue and made a subtle hints that Maoists would be happy if they fail to find a solution. Indian Govt afraid of Maoists ha ha ha hah aha at least Indian Govt would wake up from its Kumbakarna Sleep and use Article 3 of Constitution and pass the bill of Telangana Statehood with its knowledge and wisdom knowing that it would never come to a single conclusion with talks in Indias life time bcos of our crooked policy makers
