Bhutta College to hold seminar-cum-workshop

Ludhiana, March 3 Bhutta College of Engineering & Technology (BCET), Bhutta (Ludhiana) is organising a seminar-cum-workshop on “Strategies for developing competitive advantage for techno-entrepreneurs in new global scenario” March 5.

Eminent speakers like Dr M.A. Zahir, a well known management guru and former Dean, College of Basic Sciences and Humanities, PAU, D.L. Sharma, a well known management practitioner and President and Executive Director, Vardhman Textiles Limited, Ludhiana, and Dr S.B. Singh, a well known technocrat and management expert and former Principal, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, will present their papers on improving the competitiveness of techno-entrepreneurs.

Dr Sandeep Kapur of Department of Business Management, PAU, will co-ordinate the open discussions after the technical sessions. It is expected that approximately 250 engineering/business management students, who wish to take up entrepreneurship as a career option will participate in this seminar-cum-workshop.

Explaining the importance of this seminar-cum-workshop, Dr V.K. Sharma, Principal, BCET, said, “In these tough and turbulent times, it is important that young minds are encouraged to start their own knowledge-based enterprises. During the course of this seminar-cum-workshop, it is expected that the young technocrats will get a chance to interact with the experts on developing competitiveness of their units.”
