Lucknow With the RLD ditching its ally, the BJP, and forging a new alliance to support the Samajwadi Party candidate in Firozabad by-election, the state BJP seems to be out of wits. On Tuesday, senior party leader and state election in-charge Kalraj Mishra said that since the decision to join hands with RLD before the Lok Sabha elections was that of the Delhi leadership, the reaction too will come from their side.

The BJP has fielded Bhanu Pratap Singh in Firozabad, but Jayant Choudhary, RLD general secretary and son of party president Ajit Singh, is going there on Wednesday to campaign for Dimple Yadav, daughter-in-law of Mulayam Singh and SP Firozabad candidate.

“I have read about this in the newspapers, but so far Jayant hasn’t gone for campaigning. I admire Jayant and it is his decision,” said Mishra.
