Kolkata The state BJP on Friday accused both CPM and Trinamool of having links with the Maoists. “Kishenji had claimed Maoists helped the CPM wrest control of like Garbeta and Keshpur. He also claimed Maoists backed Trinamool in Nandigram,” said state BJP chief Rahul Sinha, holding the state government responsible for the underdevelopment in tribal belts. “There is a Trinamool MP who sings for the Maoists and so far no action has been taken against him by his party,” he said. Sinha also raised the issue of the proposed 10 per cent reservation for the poor among the minorities in government jobs, saying both the CPM and the Trinamool were practising politics of appeasement. The BJP is contesting 91 of the total 141 seats in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
