BJP workers attack police station in Savli

Vadodara A mob of around 300 BJP Yuva Morcha activists, led by its general secretary Ketan Inamdar, allegedly pelted stones on Savli police station and beat up a sub-inspector on Thursday evening. Sources said the mob was trying to protest against the police taking strict action in implementing of traffic rules. “A case of rioting and intervening in the duty of a government official has been registered. "Inamdar along with 300 to 400 activists entered the police station and asked SI NK Vyas to stop checking vehicles coming into Savli as the elections were nearing," said BS Jebaliya, Vadodara District Superintendent.
