In the junior boys section, Manav Mangal School bagged top honours while Blue Bird High School and Bhavan Vidyalaya finished second and third respectively.Besides roller hockey, speed events, rink and road race were also organised.
Administrator's Cricket Cup from Jan 8
The Chandigarh Sports Department will conduct Chandigarh Inter-College Cricket Tournament for Administrator's Cup from January 8 to 14 at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium here. The knockout tournament will be of 50 overs each side matches. Entries close with junior cricket coach Harish Kumar or senior manager Naib Singh at Sector 16 Cricket Stadium before 5 p.m on January 7. Winners and runners-up teams will be awarded prizes.
Chandigarh Masters Athletics Meet today
The Chandigarh Masters Athletic Association will organise the Chandigarh Masters Athletic Meet on January 6 at Sports Complex, Sector-46. The meet will be held in the age categories of 35-40, 40-45, 45-50, 50-55, 55-60, 60-65, 65-70, 70-75, 75-80 and 80+ for both men and women.
