Ludhiana The annual board examinations for Class VIII and XII conducted by the Punjab School Education Board, Mohali, began on a rather happy note on Saturday as students were reportedly satisfied with the question paper in both the exams.

Class VIII students of Government High School, Number 5 - Sukhbir Singh, Inderjeet Kaur and Sheelan unanimously echoed, “All question papers were quite easy and nothing was out of syllabus.”

Amit Kumar of Senior National High School said, “I hope to score well in the exam and am happy that the exam started on a positive note.”

Although Mathematics is regarded as no less than a ‘phobia’, yet Class XII students seemed to be happy after taking the exam.

Pawandeep Kaur, a student, said, “The question paper was neither tough nor easy. I could attempt the whole paper well within the stipulated time.”

A group of students chipped in, “We hope to pass the exam easily. Half the tension is over with the mathematics exam.”

No case of using unfair means was reported in any of the examinations.
