Board exams start today

Ludhiana, February 29 The annual board examinations of Punjab School Education Board, Mohali, and Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, are going to start from tomorrow. Examinations of Class VIII and XII of PSEB and Class XII of CBSE will start tomorrow, while the examinations of CBSE’s Class X will start from March 3 while that of PSEB from March 14.

Throughout the day, the examination staff remained busy in checking the examination centres and in pasting the roll number lists on notice boards and making adequate arrangements for smooth conduct of the examinations.

“There were 405 examination centres and seven teams of flying squads have been constituted to check copying in board exams. Besides me, Varinder Sharma, District Education Officer (Elementary), and five principals of different schools are also part of the squads,” informed Sudesh Bajaj, District Education Officer (Secondary), Ludhiana.
