“I guess she wasn’t very anxious,” she said.

Students in general appeared more relaxed and well-prepared for their Board ordeal on Tuesday morning as compared to the first day, when they faced the Chemistry paper, a dreaded subject for most students.

“I am fully prepared. Last night, I had a hard time convincing my parents that I was not tensed,” Gagandeep said.

Relaxed was, however, not how Mohit Singh, another student, felt. “It’s not that I am not prepared. But over-confidence is not a good thing,” he said.

Apart from students, tension was visible on the faces of parents waiting patiently outside the examination centre in East Delhi for their wards. Their faces relaxed when they saw their wards coming out of the centre looking cheerful.

“My exam went really well. I didn’t expect the paper to be that easy. Anyone who had studied just the NCERT book could easily score above 80 per cent,” Vijay Tiwari, a Commerce student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, said after taking the Business Studies paper.

Tiwari’s classmate Anjali said the paper should have been more direct.

“It was not a lengthy exam, but the questions were a bit indirect. I had to think a little before attempting them,” she said.

Another examinee Dinesh Verma said he found the paper lengthy and confusing. “I am not expecting above 80,” he said.
