While workers in the Adalaj area have already handed over their demand charter to the factory owners and have given consideration time for three days before going on a strike. However, other demands, like removal of the mandatory requirement of making an additional 100 bricks for every 1,000 bricks, sanitation, free housing, light, drinking water facilities and a crèche for children, remain unresolved.
Reena Parmar, a member of the Int Bhatta Majdoor Union, said: “The season for bricks will continue till Holi.
