Even as her bed-ridden mother Gayatri Devi (71) could not watch the presentation, Banerjee’s brothers — Kartyk and Ganesh along with their spouses watched her budget speech from start to end.
“It was a good budget meant for the aam aadmi. It kept the whole country in focus,” said Ganesh.
On their mother not joining the family, Kartyk added: “Since the doctor had advised her against leaving the bed, she could not see the budget presentation.”
