Campus placement at DBIMCS

Khanna, February 16 Desh Bhagat Institute of Management and Computer Sciences today organized a joint campus placement drive. Rohit Madaan from Standard Chartered Bank and his team shortlisted students for Senior Relationship Officers, with the package of Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh per annum.

Inaugurating the joint placement drive, Dr Zora Singh, Chairman of the Desh Bhagat group, congratulated the budding management professionals. He appreciated the participating colleges, and their Training and Placement Officers, to take the initiative further. He added that such coordination and participation not only strengthens relationships, but also creates a healthy atmosphere amongst professionals.

Around 400 students registered for the posts of Sales Executives and other senior positions. The students were from 12 colleges including Gian Jyoti Institute of Management, GNIMT Ludhiana, CMTR Kharar, PCTE Baddowal, PU SBS Department, Talwandi Sabo, Apeejay Institute of Management, Jalandhar, CMT Patiala, Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib, Swami Devi Dyal Institute of Engineering And Technology, Barwala, Panchkula, Swami Vivekananda School of Management, Banur etc.

Rohit Madan and his team took interviews of the students for selection. The first step was the written exam, and the second was the Human Resources round, wherein candidates had to show their skills and potential.

In addition to the annual packages, the selected candidates will also be given incentives depending on their individual performance and capability. From the written test, 140 candidates were chosen for the final round of personal interviews. After the interviews, 40 students were shortlisted. The college management and the faculty members congratulated the shortlisted candidates, and advised them to work with complete dedication.
