Parvathy Omanakuttan, who missed the 'Ms World' crown by a whisker, is all set to follow the footsteps of her modeling predecessors. No, she isn't dressing up for charity events but busy cutting ribbons or leafing through scripts.

"There are many offers from Bollywood and South Indian producers but I have yet to sign on the dotted line," says Omanakuttan, in Lucknow to offer solutions to hair and scalp problems. "Since I am from the South, offers of regional language films are lined up but I am taking my time to zero in on any," says the Kerala-born model as she inaugurates Richfeel Trichology Centre.

Besides inaugurating business centres, she is busy taking dancing and acting classes. "I think these are some necessary steps to be taken before you take the plunge into acting," explains India's latest beauty ambassador who is also a trained Indian classical dancer.

"Classical dancing and dancing in films are two different things. I am learning both," says Omanakuttan extending her greetings to AR Rehman and other Indians associated with Slumdog Millionaire. "Winning an Oscar is remarkable and winners deserve them all," says the 5-feet-9-inch beauty who hogged the limelight for wrong reasons after the 'Ms World' pageant. "I was not happy, I admitted, but I never questioned anything," she clears the air, saying she was unnecessary dragged into a controversy. "I am nobody to point a finger at jury members," says Ms World first runner-up.
