Contest to win
SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Andheri (W) will be holding Khoj, the annual equity research competition at the institute’s auditorium on January 12. The inter business school equity research competition organised by the finance committee provides a platform for those interested in making a career in equity research and security markets to display their potential to eminent professionals in the industry. About 30 teams that have been short-listed will be presenting equity research on the hottest sectors like real estate, leisure and tourism, media, pharma and medical equipments. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala leading market investor and CEO of Rare Enterprises will be the keynote speaker for the event. The winning teams would be awarded exciting cash prizes. Retail Management
With the growing need of churning out professionals in the retail sector, Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad, in collaboration with Hughes Net Global Education, has announced a one-year postgraduate certificate program in retail management in Mumbai and other cities like Pune, Chennai, Bangalore and Kolkata among others. The course starts this week and comprises regular theory classes and a practical project.
