Foreign films for the festival include By the Pricking of My Thumbs (2005) a French film of duration 105 minutes directed by Pascal Thomas. The film was entry to various international film festivals namely China 2006, Greenwich 2006, Tokyo/Osaka 2006, Tuebing-Stuttgart 2005. Another film is What is a man without a moutache (2005), a Croatian comedy of duration 109 minutes directed by Hrvoje Hribar. It bagged four international awards and was an entry to Pula Film Festival 2006 and Sarajevo Film Festival 2005.
Hungarian films, Relatives (2006) of duration 110 minutes, Eighth Day of the week (2006) of duration 103 minutes and A Weekend in Pest and Buda (2004) of 90 minutes, have also been included in the festival. A Iranian film, Twilight of 100 minutes of duration, will also be screened. Hindi films to be screened at the festival include Madhur Bhandarkar’s Traffic Signal, Corporate and Page 3, Benegal’s Bose-the Forgotten Hero, Zubeida, Bhumika, Junoon, Chak De India, Dil Chahta Hai, The Blue Umbrella, Apne and Mitte Watain Di. There are four movies in children’s section as well. The movies will be screened at Fun Republic. Tickets are available at discounted rates.
