Magic touch
Every aspiring singer dreams of meeting Sonu Niigam someday. So when Sonu dropped in to meet the contestants of Indian Idol, their day was made. Each contestant got a chance to sit across him and sing before him. They even got personalised tips from him. He revealed tricks of the trade like no other singer would. Sonu’s down -to- earth personality simply floored the young ones. He stood talking with his arm around Prasenjit’s shoulders and now Prasenjit refuses to part with the jacket he was wearing because it had Sonu’s magical touch.
What admiration.

Early Holi
THE cast of Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki proves once again that family bonding is of utmost importance. A plot sequence required the four brothers Dharam, Rishabh, Varun and Jai to get together during the makeover of their dilapidated shop. The actors got completely engrossed in painting the walls of the shop. Within no time, the guys started a colour war. Drenched in colour and water, they had quite a ball on the sets. It was like playing Holi in the month of January, splashing colour at each other. “It was a fun-filled moment. When the painting shoot got over I was charged,” says Karan Grover, who plays Rishabh in the soap. This is the reason why Karan actually returned home and desperately started selecting a wall on which to run a colourful brush.

Extreme Makeover
ACTOR Karan Singh believes in doing things thoroughly. The Dill Mill Gayye heartthrob recently had to change his look as Dr Armaan on the show. The plot required Armaan, who’s professing his love for his lady love Ridheema and impressing Dr Shashank, to turn into an average Joe. Karan experimented with various looks before zeroing in on the one he thought looked best. So different was the look, with a moustache and glasses, from his usual dashing and tattooed self, that even his wife, who was visiting him on the sets, couldn’t recognise him.
