Party time

Adhyayan Suman’s birthday bash at Piano Bar, Kemp’s Corner, on Tuesday, was celebrated in great style. The birthday boy had invited all of his friends including lady love Kangana Ranaut and the cast and crew of his debut film Raaz - the Mystery

Continues. The party metre was high as Adhyayan cut the cake and sang the track Soniyo from the movie to Kangana. The guests — who included Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt, Kunal Deshmukh, Monica Bedi, Mohit Suri, Shahana Goswami and

Emraan Hashmi — were seen enjoying themselves as they ate the delectable southeast-Asian cuisine. An added reason to celebrate was Raaz getting through the censors without any censors. But surely the highlight of the evening for Adhyayan was being gifted a BMW 7 by his father Shekhar Suman.

Art of the matter

BARELY two months back, terror stalked the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower’s corridor. On Tuesday, however, it’s poolside lounge turned into an art and culture hub with Mumbai’s culturati turning up to witness Pandit Jasraj receive a Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was presented to the maestro by the Rotary Club of Bombay’s president Ashish Vaid. Panditji was accompanied by his wife Madhura Jasraj.
