Kolkata, March 2 A software engineer from Kolkata and his employer were killed in an accident in Pune on Sunday morning.

The victim, Victor Guha, residing at Negri in Pune, and his employer Raghu were rushed to the emergency ward of a nearby hospital in Juhu. They, however, succumbed to injuries.

A resident of Haridebpur, Victor had joined a software company in 2007 in Pune.

The two were on their way to Juhu on a motorcycle around 9 on Sunday morning, when the driver of a speeding private vehicle coming from the opposite end lost control and collided head-on with the motorcycle.

There was a pall of gloom over Victor’s locality in Haridebpur in Regent Park area. His family is in a state of shock and trying to come to terms with the terrible news. “It’s hard to believe but I have lost my son.

Hopefully, his body will reach Kolkata on Monday.” said Arindam Guha, Victor’s father.

A few members of Victor’s family have left for Pune to identify the body.
