City tiny tots to take part in world yoga camp

Ludhiana, February 29 Gunjan Bagga, a IInd class student of Saraswati Modern School, Civil Lines, and Damimi Mahajan, a student of class IV of BCM School Chandigarh Road have been been invited to take part in World Yoga Camp, to be held in June in Romania and Egypt. Both these have been invited by Toorilli, president of World Yoga Cultural Federation.

Kamla Jain, the founder of the Sarawati Modern School, Neelambra Sharma, the school principal, and Vinod Sharma, the school head-mistress of the institution, and school staff congratulated her and wished her a bright future.

Both these students recently participated in the 16th International Yoga Championship at Surat in which 8,000 competitors from 18 countries participated.

Damini got fifth position while Gunjan secured seventh position in the event out of 180 partcipants. Both have learnt yoga from from Surya Vedant, the yoga coach. Mitu ad Vinay, parents of Damini, said that it was a moment of pride for the family.
