Pune Puneites will face relief from load shedding for only 15 minutes on Friday as the availability of power from the Tata Power company is only 13 MW.

A statement issued here by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) stated that the franchisee TPC has been able to procure only 13 MW of power. Hence all the three groups will face loadshedding with a relief of only 15 minutes and areas under these groups will face power cuts that will range from three to four hours.

MSEDCL officials averred that there will be a fluctuation in the availability of power from TPC. Pune requires an additional 173 MW to avail of relief from loadshedding.
