Preity Zinta has her kitty full of survival and narrow escape stories always, if not films. This explains why she is the chosen celebrity to promote National Geographic Channel’s six-part series Trapped, which will be aired on Monday at 10 pm starting from March 3. The lady with the dimples obliged by sharing the tales of getting trapped by the monstrous waves of a tsunami in Sri Lanka, her travails during the Mumbai floods, going to the court challenging the underworld threat and Sunny Deol rescuing her from near-death during the filming of Hero. Small wonder a pleased Nikhil Mirchandani, Managing Director, National Geographic Channel, South Asia, was all praises for the actor.

Showstopper Zinta’s verve and tales of bravery spiced up the afternoon.
