Lucknow, February 7 The Lucknow police recovered the body of a 21-year-old youth around 100 metres away from the deceased’s residence in Fazulganj area under Madioan police circle on Thursday morning.

The police claimed that miscreants beat Ashish to death.

“There were bruises on Ashish’s body which hints that the miscreants had beaten him badly and following which he died,” said Station House Officer of Madioan Police station VK Mishra. It is suspected that miscreants dumped the victim’s body near his house and escaped. After police searched Ashish’s room, they recovered several evidences that hint at the victim’s relationship with several girls.

“There is also a property dispute between Ashish’s father and his uncle. We are inquiring on both the angles,” Mishra added. A local, Chandra Sen Maurya, today informed the police that body of Ashish is lying in his field. The police reached the spot and sent the body for a postmortem.

Ashish, who ran a teaching institute in Fazulganj area, was living with his two younger brothers. His father Chotte Lal lives at their parental house in Veerapanpur area.

The complainant in the case — Chandra Sen —has registered an FIR against unidentified person under Section 302 of the IPC.
